One year, I stayed inside the house without coming out almost ever because of health issues and so, I started spending much more time on the internet. I got "into" art with neopets, designing for guilds and user pages and learned my way around photoshop cs a bit at a time.

For a while after that, I nearly completely forgot about photoshop or even art... In late 2006, I restarted art as a way to deal with life. My art was almost always very dark and gory, but it felt good. Eventually, my art came in many "emotions" and I started looking into a future career in Graphic Design or Retouching/Editing professionally but my passion rested mostly on photo manipulations which, I later discovered, was mostly freelanced. I also wasn't sure about getting a career in which money was always an issue wondering if I would be able to pay the next month's rent as a single mom. I decided to keep on doing art but as a hobby taking free commissions in order to practice.

One day, I would like to freelance on the side.
