I have to say that the idea of TRUST does appear very nicely in your image. It shows a baby dragon trusting the sorcerer or old man and wanking slowly and cautiously on to his palm. The composition in this manipulation is quite good. The dragon, the light candle and orbs show a classic sorcerers environment.
But, here is where the problem starts: 1- You have not given much attention to the lighting of the area. The light from the candle should illuminate the hands and the nearby areas like on the table. That is completely ignored. Also the orbs seem to be shining. There should be illumination of the man's left side, the side near to the one with lightning. There is no light effect on the face from those orbs. In fact, the side of the face seem to be shadowed. These details are really important to make it look realistic. 2- There are no shadows on the image adjusted by you. The main light source is behind the man. So, his shadow should be reflected on the table. This also helps it look more realistic in nature.
I respect the effort you put into this. Matching the colors of all the stocks is always a very difficult one. But, if you are careful about the details mentioned above in the future, you should do just fine
